Professor Nimi Wariboko

Professor Nimi Wariboko is the Katherine B. Stuart Professor of Christian Ethics at Andover Newton Theological School, Newton Centre, MA., the oldest seminary in North America. He was the chair of the Ethics Department at Andover Newton and the Chair of the Ethics Colloquium of the Boston Theological Institute, a consortium of nine seminaries and divinity schools, including Andover Newton, Harvard, Boston University, and Boston College.

Before going to Andover, he taught at New York University and Frank G. Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University, all in New York.

He worked as an investment banker on Wall Street, New York before beginning his academic career. Professor Wariboko still advises corporations and governments as a management and strategy consultant.

He has also served as a parish pastor and zonal coordinator within the Redeemed Christian Church of God, North America.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics (first class honors) from the University of Port Harcourt (Nigeria); MBA (finance and accounting) from Columbia University, New York City; Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA and Ph.D. (summa cum laude, distinction) from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey, USA.
